We recently changed over from State Farm (would not ever recommend State Farm), the change over needed to happen extremely quick. After filling out the online form, a local representative, Susan Kincade, gave me a call. Susan was super helpful and detailed in her explanation. Susan was gracious and took time for us out of her Saturday and Sunday to get our policies set up by the deadline we needed. I would highly recommend Susan K at this office as a top notch insurance rep! Thanks!

If I could give a negative star I would. Terrible customer service! No way would I recommend this insurance company. Crazy billing increases with no explanations, awful interactions on the "customer service" calls. Maybe they are just that poorly run and will cease to be in business. Terrible

I had been with liberty for over 14 yrs and had a great relationship, my contact unfortunately retired and now I'm working with a great representative in the same office who has offered me great service and insurance both auto and home so I'm happy to be back with my former partner. Liberty is in the business for a long time and takes good care of you.

Filed an auto claim, had some questions about the claim. Took nearly three months to get anyone to call me back despite multiple emails and phone calls. When I did finally receive a call from a supervisor they were uninformed, had basic facts wrong, and completely unhelpful.

Went online to request a quote for home and auto. Completed all the prompts only to be told that I would need to contact a representative. I did receive a call back asking how much I was currently paying for insurance. I was told that if they could save me money, I would be contacted. That was the last I heard. It's an unprofessional experience that I would not recommend.

After getting my car fixed at their cut rate shop, my dealer found leaks and mounts that werent repaired or replaced due to an accident, and liberty mutual just passed the buck saying it was pre existing. I wouldnt trust them.

Worst insurance company ever. they make you jump through more hoops than a circus animal to get reimbursed for workman's comp claims. Plus I have had several rude interactions with Representatives over the phone with this company. if you would like for a company to insult you as you are trying to ask for help this is the company for you.

Horrible. Local agent was worthless 11 times over. Rates would go up with no explanation AND no warning. Would leave the local agent (Brenda maybe? I really don't know because she never answered her phone and rarely returned calls) and we were forced to call a ridiculous 800 number and go through worthless voice trees to get some person in some call center. The answers were never clear. Very disappointing. Further, THEY made an error and did not renew our son's truck so he was left effectively without insurance for 2 months due to THEIR error. They never gave us a reason why it was not auto-renewed and agreed that it most certainly should have been. And finally, after being with them for 5 years, we started to shop and discovered that they were charging us roughly $3500 MORE than same coverage (if not better) quotes than we got from Allstate and Farmers.

I have bought home insurace (town home) from them,which cost me double premium than my neighbor (she has state farm).My policy said loss assessment coverage is 10,000.From last hail storm,our hoa said we have loss assesment deductable for $4500 we need to pay.this liberty insurance paid us only $1000.They said my policy had endorsrment which say that the maximum that they will pay for loss asessment deductable from hoa is only $1000.Ireally disappointed with this company,they just play game with customer

Too bad zero stars cannot be given. Stay clear. The practices by the agents to sell policies don't seem very ethical. My rates went up by 40% or more from one policy term to the next. It turns out I was given a bunch of discounts by the agent here to make it cheap for one term. When I reached out to Liberty Mutual to investigate they let me know they couldn't apply the same discounts to make my pricing equivalent, so I changed insurance providers.

Fed Up!!! I have been a loooong time customer of Liberty Mutual! My parents were looooooooong time customers of Liberty Mutual. You would think that loyalty would pay off for you and in businesses that are good it does. Liberty Mutual doesn't value loyalty as they substantially raise your rates every year even though you have had no claims. I first started to sour on them when I found out I had been being over charged for years. Seems I was eligible for a huge discount that was based on my good credit and other factors. I was never asked about this discount or told about this discount. My agent at the time told me they weren't allowed to tell us about this discount. Even though even at this point I had been a very long time customer. My agents was Craig Barry. Craig knew my parents and had been their agent for a very long time. Once upon a time they deserved that loyalty but things changed around this time. I was mad that I had been being over charged and I left this agent. Since then I have experienced one problem after another. For example, one of our vehicle has NO DATA for both the make and the model of the vehicle showing on the proof of insurance. They show the correct VIN and have been given the information several times still it shows up as no data. Yesterday they told me they thought this was a trailer and that is all we were being charged for and that since this was a mistake our rates would go up by a factor of 4. So from $183.00 to $732.00. Turns out this IS NOT true! The new insurance company I found has given me a quote of $96.00 for this vehicle. So basically they are playing games with an already discouraged customer. Another problem is an actual trailer we insured with them last year has completely disappeared from their records. It is like we never insured the vehicle with them at all. It is no where to be found in the current policies nor does it show up in the renewal documents. WTH!!! This means we have been using this trailer with no coverage for who knows how long. I learned from the new insurance company that one of our vehicles that we bought with hail damage is showing that we filed a claim for that damage. We did NOT! We bought the car with the hail damage from a dealership. They never asked about it and they know we didn't file claim. WTH!!! They never asked about any of the multiple other discounts we once received when I spoke to them yesterday. My home owners insurance has skyrocketed and the only way the are willing to get the price down is if I under insure the home. We have had home owners insurance with them for 25 years and have only made one claim for hail damage in that time. Last year when I went through this they showed our home as being primarily heated with a wood burning stove. This is ludicrous!!! We have a wood burning stove we use maybe 3 times a year when the temperature goes below zero. Good Bye Liberty Mutual! For those reading this review I genuinely CANNOT recommend Liberty Mutual.

This company has been great for me since 1997; however, this year their auto rates went up by about 40% (no wrecks, claims or tickets) and I have a simple question about my homeowner's policy. I've been on hold with the local office for over 20 minutes and still haven't been connected to a real person! Very disappointing.
