Sarah Was Most Helpful, Very Professional, And Handled My Questions Quickly. 

I contacted liberty mutual today and they want me to send information across the Internet. I was asked for my Social Security card, not the information of the vehicle. I was told that there was no way for me to meet this person shake his hand and hand them my personal information. I do not trust a person I cannot look in the eye, and I do not trust a person if they don’t look at me back in the eye do you and I’m not trying to be hostile to this corporation however, I have decided to rate them with the eye “electronics spike“I believe that this reading these words should send a shiver through anyone spine cause when I think of the word electronic spike, a picture a really bad company that is may be trying to steal the information of the elderly and other people and sell it on the dark web. Maybe I’m wrong, but my gut told me not to trust these people, so I rate them the electronic spike.

I have been with this company for years. I have 8 policies with them, from dirt bikes to home owners to life insurance. Not even USAA can match the prices and service. Highly recommend working with them.

Good coverage 3 times the cost of state farm

They initiated A policy at Quoted Rate then arbitrarily increased rate directly auto debit my bank account. Many phone calls and time but with an increased rate because pro-rated since two months elapsed.

Great with claims, terrible with changes to policy and paperwork.

We would like to apologize for your experience. We're sorry to hear you were less than satisfied.

NOT a local agent!!  I called to get a quote answered 5 mins worth of questions, then was transferred to a new agent who asked me the SAME questions, then transferred me to ANOTHER agent who started to ask the same questions AGAIN!  Never ended up getting my quote, because I hung up.  If this is how their service is on the FRONT end, I can only imagine how horrible it is when you really need something.  Moving on to another company!

Local service is fantastic however the customer service at the Liberty Claims dept is the absolute WORST I have ever encountered.
Leaving several messages with no responses, e-mail no response, even as far as being HUNG up on by a customer service rep, terrible customer service.
I will be finding a new company for home and auto.

Our rep has retired and we still grt great service.

The local agent I work with is great, however Liberty themselves has absolutely terrible customer service and don't bother getting the Roadside Assistance, it is awful. It took an hour for them to even schedule a tow truck and another hour before it showed up. That was after several phone calls from me and them trying to make us wait for a tow truck that was coming from 2 hours away. There was a tow service within a few miles of us, but they didn't want to use them because they weren't on their list of preferred providers. When I complained, I was told that someone would contact me within 48 hours, nothing. Let them know and they said someone would contact me that day, nothing. A week later, still have not heard from customer service. Glad I am paying you hundreds of dollars a month to get treated like I don't matter!!

Not happy about not having an agent to talk to face to face.

They have the worst customer service and follow up possible. They have competitive rates but better hope you dont every actually need to use the service you a paying for. I have been dealing with an insurance claim for 2 months and cant get follow up.

TL,DR: This business is shady at best. Shop with caution.

We went with liberty upon buying our home. They messed up our move in date, and sent an agent out to inspect the house nearly a month before we even owned it and threatened to cancel our policy due to the fact that the home was unoccupied and the roof was old.
We got in contact with them and told them that they had the wrong move in date and that our home inspector said that there was still a good 5 years until the roof needed to be fixed, and that we could provide proof of both of these things. Their agent said that it was not an issue and that there would be no problem fixing the date and contesting the inspection.
Two months go by without a word, and we receive notice that we failed to provide evidence that our roof was fine (evidence that we offered them mind you) and that our policy was canceled. They were not going to accept any argument on the matter, the legality of which is shaky at best.
Now I have no insurance on my home completely out of the blue.
They may offer good rates, but their processes are all over the place. Don't use this company if you don't want to be left high and dry.
