Helping people has always been at the heart of everything I do. I took a three-year break from insurance to pursue social work, driven by my desire to make a difference in people’s lives. When the program I worked for closed, I found myself returning to the insurance industry — but with a renewed sense of purpose.

During that time, my family and I experienced the loss of a few close friends. One had life insurance and one did not — and the difference it made for their loved ones was profound. That experience reminded me why this work matters so much.
