Eric Schmitt

I’m a Pennsylvania native who has called Stokesdale, North Carolina home for nearly 20 years. Located just north of Greensboro and south of Martinsville, Virginia, Stokesdale is where I’ve built my life, my community, and my connection to the outdoors.

When I’m not helping clients, you’ll usually find me hiking, golfing, spending Sundays on Belews Lake with my two dogs—Sascha, my German Shepherd, and Blitz, my Rottweiler—or enjoying anything with a motor.

Dirt bikes, ATVs, boats, off-roading, and the people I’ve met along the way have all helped shape who I am. Those experiences ultimately led me to insurance—a career that allows me to connect with my community, build lifelong relationships, and help people protect what matters most.

As an insurance agent, I bring nearly a decade of experience as a Sales Producer with Allstate to my Comparion Agency. Over the years, I’ve learned that there’s a big difference between being insured and being properly protected. My role isn’t simply to find the lowest price. It’s to understand your life, identify the risks that matter, and help you make informed decisions about protecting what you’ve worked hard to build.

I serve clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia with personal insurance solutions, including auto, home, renters, landlord, jewelry, pet, life, and small business insurance.

My passion for protection is personal. After losing my brother in a 2024 motorcycle crash caused by a reckless, uninsured driver, I gained a deeper understanding of how important the right coverage can be. My brother was not at fault, yet the lack of insurance on the other vehicle created additional financial challenges for our family during an already difficult time. That experience strengthened my commitment to helping clients understand their coverage and prepare for the unexpected.

Insurance is built on trust, honesty, and guidance. I’ll always tell you the truth, explain your options clearly, and help you find coverage that makes sense for your situation.
