I recently changed my Home and Auto insurance from Allstate to Travelers.  I wasn't to sure about this change.  I'm a person that is pretty loyal to vendors. However, Rick Rogers was very knowledgeable and helpful with providing me and my wife with a detail explanation on the differences between coverages. He took the time to compare line by line the coverage between Allstate and Travelers.  He made sure we fully understood and answered all our questions and concerns. I’m sorry you had a bad experience with Liberty Mutual’s claims department. Here at Liberty Mutual, we want to make sure we are connecting you with the appropriate teams to best address your concerns and needs. This is a local sales office. If you’d like to speak with a claims specialist, please call 800-225-2467.

Great introductory rates but read the fine print. After 5 years with Liberty hail took out my roof, I failed to understand that Liberty had prorated the roof. I ended up paying a a lot  out of pocket (more than half the cost of the roof) that I had thought I would, my bad.
After the hail event they  doubled my rates and put a false claim on my account so I could not get a policy with another company till that was cleared. After taking a couple weeks of calling around clearing that up I moved on to a different company with a local insurance agent.  Now I am trying to get that policy cancelled. Seems they have 1 agent answering calls on the phones so plan on waiting awhile. I used my time to write a review. been on hold now going on 15 of the 10 minutes they said I would wait.
I do not recommend Liberty Mutual.

If I could rate this zero I would. Charged almost $500 when the policy was supposed to be cancelled. They said they would return “most” of it by midnight same day. I stressed to them I have mortgage coming out and they said it would be back in account by midnight and of course it wasn’t. $30 overdraft from my bank and still out money that is not back on my account. I highly don’t recommend this company. They are liars and horrible staff. Haven’t had this policy in over a year. Stay away they will rob you

Placed 2 claims on my home but was supposed to be 1 hence insurance went up and had open claim for 1.5 years because they did not finish work. When they completed work then it took over 30 days to pay my contractor.

Well they shot me a real good price but they did not give me a price on insuring my home they put me on hold for 20 minutes I finally hung up they never called me back

Had a wreck in 2017 that has cost me over 10k in medical bills from getting hit by a drunk driver. they claim that me and my wife signed off saying that we didn't want uninsured motorist which was a lie its cheap to get and I'm faily certain that in one way or another they either lied or took a signature from somewhere else so they didn't have to help me. I have a two year old and a family I haven't been able to take of, they could easily help me but will not. do not go here very bad.

Garbage got hit by one of their drivers and they gave me a rep that was on vacation so it took Almost a month to get the repairs started. Very slow at getting back with you too

I've been with LM since my first car. Rates kept going up. Local customer service was non-existent (though, more recently they tried to make up for the lack of communication.. just not sure how). Long story short, I've just saved over $2,500 switching.

$2,500. Two cars. Two drivers. A home. No claims, except one I reported and never followed through on (small hit-and-run fender bender).

And with the other company:
- My deductible is $500. Not $750.
- They're actually valuing my house for what it's worth, not thousands under.
- I don't have to pay extra for features I never got from LM, like roadside assistance / rental car, etc. - all things they made sure to let me know that I wasn't covered on.
- Various payment options to make it cheaper.

I'd been told by friends for years that my paying ~$400 / month for a company like LM is way too much. And LM each time basically said, "Too bad, so sad" as far as rate increases.

Three stars instead of 2, because 1 - their app is neat, and the rep I spoke with when I was hit and run was indeed helpful.

These people are crooks.  Nice to some and completely steal from others.  I heard they steal...now i know they in fact do steal.  Im suing them and they have no case.  They were just hoping im some old person they could push around.
