My car insurance claim experience was a nightmare. All communication had to be via text messages. My claims adjuster's messages were written in poor language and were therefore so unclear (and also full of mistakes) that it took many texts back and forth to sort out the miscommunication. At first she texted that my car was declared a total loss. After I pushed back, she said that she made a mistake. Finally, after two weeks I received a text from her and LM stating that my damage review was available on my account. I have the LM mobile app installed but when I logged in and clicked on "View Estimate and Details" I got a message saying there was no claim info available. I called the the "Having trouble?" number which referred me back to the claims adjuster who was not available. Then I received an email from an unknown individual with a 1 page pdf file about my claim that showed the LM logo but no info. I finally was able to reach the adjuster by phone who told me that she sent me a claim settlement check in the mail today. I canceled my car insurance with this company. By the way, they raised my premium significantly at the last renewal period, even though I had had no accidents, claims, or tickets. This was my first claim experience and it was from hell.

Shoutout to Ebony from Liberty Mutual. Had the best customer service, was very patient with my questions and answered them with respect, honesty, and got any problems I had were taken care of right away. I highly recommend Ebony to anyone. Very kind and trustworthy person.

My car and truck were damaged by one of there policy holders. It did $7700 damage to my car and over a $1000 damage to my truck. They estimated the car damage at $2600. I had rebuilt the car from the ground up with a custom vinyl wrap job valued at over $2000 alone. My advice is that you contact your state insurance commissioner in this company. I'm still fighting with them to get the right appraisal

I hate this insurance and the worst part is that its not mine its been more then a month now and they cant figure it out wife thinks im not doing enough to get them to respond but they are just giving me the run around most of the time they will not answer calls or emails.

Liberty mutual App wouldn’t allow me to downgrade insurance during COVID, so I canceled, only to get harassment from a Bill collector several months later saying I didn’t cancel until they apparently canceled my insurance— three months after I canceled. Now they claim I owe $900 for insurance I never wanted. Scam!

Zero rating. Have had insurance with this company approximately ten years with no claims. Alternator went out in truck. Could not get roadside service. Stuck on busy highway with truck and rig for five hours. Got the run around for about three hours from Liberty's roadside service. Liberty did not give us service. Had to get alternative service. Cannot ever get in touch with our agent, Lauri Lum. Liberty raises payments every year, debits my account automatically and gives zero service.

This is one of the bad insurance I have almost like a month the one of their clients hit me on my truck and no one call me jet to fix my truck and when I call they send me to the voice mail sucks this insurance they just want to get money but they don’t want to take care of the customers I will put 0 on the stars

This is the most difficult insurance company to get in touch with. My agent is never available and my calls get directed to some office in Tampa, FL. Not getting the warm fuzzies here. It really terrifies me to think what would happen if I ever really needed them if I was ever in an accident. I'm definitely doing some insurance shopping. Hope they're not all this bad.

Too bad you can't rate it ZERO. Good luck trying to reach anyone at these office, they have the phones going to their central call center. Totally inconsiderate service. You truly do get what you pay for. Found an large company with GREAT SERVICE and they take care of heir clients. What a concept.
