Goodluck on getting anyone on the phone after 5pm. If you send in a payment late theres no grace period so watch out for those $ 200 fee then the $60 increase in payment monthly. The only good thing about the company is GAP insurance. Forget about trying to help anyone

I do not like to leave negative reviews, I have worked in customer service and its a thankless job most days and I understand how hard it is to please everyone, I do also understand that not everyone is on the same level and may need help or assistance when answering a customers questions about a particular product, situation, etc. but when I have to not only continually call, get different answers and never the full true story its concerning. In my case, I had gotten a quote back in October, liked the rate, went thru the driving monitoring and everything. I got a letter stating that my insurance was going to be cancelled 2/4 due to not having an exclusion form filled out properly. I called immediately and the person I spoke to assured me that they had the form and all was fine, dandy. Well it was not...seems the box was never checked. Fast forward to this past Monday and I get an email stating that my policy was fully credited back....to my shock and surprise. So I called and spoke to someone that told me that they could have a supervisor call me back in 24 hrs. I mean come on, we are dealing with car insurance, safety. I call back immediately after and get someone that agrees this needs to be fixed pronto. so she sends me another form, I email it back with disclosure of no claims or losses.....and when the dept that reviews this sends me an email that was NOT at all the correct one. So I call back again...Speak to a seasoned professional and he tells me that he is going to escalate it up to the dept that reviews the apps, etc. and I should get a definitive answer today. NOTHING....some cheery woman calling me telling me I will hear back in 24 hrs. Finally the kicker, the cherry on the top of the sundae was when I talked to #7, 8 reps that tell me that THE POLICY WAS CANCELLED AND THAT THEY CAN'T EVEN GIVE ME A NEW QUOTE!!!! WTH!!! Poor, poor attention to detail, customers well being. I will neve, ever recommend you all.

Got safeco thru these people and had to use roadside assistance. It took 3 days to get the car picked up. Then they dropped it off at the wrong location. Been on the phone with them for 2 more days waiting on them to move it to the shop they were supposed to drop it at. Now they're on the phone making more excuses. Never use these people . We pay 600+ a month and they have all been rude we were even told it's our issue we need to go handle it. Then why do we pay all this money.

My car was hit while parked by a person who has Liberty Mutual Car Insurance. Now four days after the incident my car still sits untouched and damaged with no progress. Their customer service is non existent. Their website is a joke. Good luck reaching a human or checking your claim online. They also have the nerve to send you a link to buy insurance from them. This company does not care and just wants your money.

I will be leaving another 1 star review when all of this is over. Person who hit me has this insurance and I’ll start with saying how unhelpful they have been through this experience. It has been a month since the accident and I am still waiting for an adjuster to look at my car. I have tried calling the claim specialist assigned to me, but she’s always busy so she sends me to voicemail. There is no way to contact anyone else, for every number you call a robot will direct you to your claim specialist and if she doesn’t want to answer she doesn’t have to :) So just waiting for someone to come out now, hope they don’t mind this rental bill.

It was at first n then the rates started going up. I couldn't understand it. I am 63 years old, never had a DUI in my life, never had been in jail, smoker or drinker, and yet my premium was $108 a month with liberty mutual. I bought a 1993 Harley Davidson low Rider and liberty mutual wanted as much for the insurance for the bike, as they did for the car. So I called progressive insurance company, my car insurance was cut in half with the same coverage, my bike insurance is even less and I also have theft on it. So now I'll pay$108 and have both of them covered. I wish I would have known about the premiums with progressive earlier.

Recently dropped a car off of my policy and the rep messed up and dropped the whole policy. She then rewrote the policy but never turned it into the dmv as proof of insurance so it showed up as a lapse. Two months later here we are having to pay fees at dmv because liberty mutual didn’t send the new policy. When asked about why the reps and managers have been extremely rude. They have cursed at me and have gotten mad when asked why they won’t send the new policy they have hung up on me multiple times. If you are looking for a dependable insurance company this is not the one. Steer clear of this company.

Literally the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with in my life. The adjuster, Dione Flowers, was the rudest, most unhelpful, argumentative person I've ever had the displeasure of deal with after an accident. I would literally use any other company for insurance before using this company. Dione's rudeness was only matched by her coworker, Sara Offord. In addition to being absolutely rude, Sara is wholly incompetent. She made absolutely zero effort to get my claim resolved and spend the better part of our conversations trying to talk over me as opposed to listen and providing a solution.

We bought the policy and two days later my husband checked the app to find out when our payment would be due only to find that our rate was raised to $667. When we called to find out why they said because of his violation. I NEVER would have agree'd to $200 a month for insurance if it weren't for his violation, but $667?! That's only $40 less than our mortgage payment! That is insane!! We called to cancel the first person said he would refund our money and cancel our policy. Well my husband checked to see if they refunded it and there was a CHARGE for $200! When we called again they said this was their cancellation fee. And they refused to refund our money. I understand we did have 3 days of insurance so we needed to be charged something. But $400 for 3 days of insurance??? Please stay AWAY FROM THIS CROOK COMPANY.

SCAM ALERT !!!!! January 2020 I was involved in an auto accident with Liberty mutual insured. Other driver failed to yield, struck my car. Police arrive and cited the other driver. I received police report and filed claim with Liberty Mutual insurance. I was directed to individual named Sheena Soberon i called with case number voice mail said I would be contacted in 24 hrs. After 24 hrs I called left another message. No return call. After 2weeks I received message that claim was denied. Unbelievable! So it seems Liberty mutual is dishonest , sketchy at best. I would never deal with Libert Mutual. I am now in the process of involving attorney to proceed. It is apparent Liberty mutual is flooding television with ads because they are a terrible insurance company. I would wholeheartedly avoid this dishonest company. I wouldnt even call them an insurance co. More accurately would be SCAM! No wonder ZOLTAR wants to escape!!!

The worst company to get insurance from. So they insured me in August then sent a letter 2 weeks later saying they were canceling my policy october 19th for a ticket I got in 2017. So September they drafted my payment out and I called to make sure there would be no payment for October drafted since they were canceling. Well october has come and they drafted the money out my account which left me in the negative. I called them told them I wanted it canceled now instead of the 19th and that I wanted my money back plus my bank fees because I was told there would be no draft for October. She said I could get my money back within 3 to 5 business days of me canceling but I could not get my overdraft fees. So today is the 5th business day of me canceling and no money back in my account. So I called customer service says that I will not be issued a refund until october 29th now mind u I called october 17th to cancel that day. The lady then tells me I will get back in my account 3 to 5 business days from the 29th... LIBERTY MUTUAL U TOOK MY RENT MONEY OUT MY ACCOUNT. I NEED MY FUNDS NOW NOT 3 TO FIVE BUSINESSES DAYS AFTER THE 29TH. I will never reccomend them and they need to take the commercials off tv.

I have a life insurance policy with them, I think. Not sure who its with anymore they keep selling out and buying back. Anyway, while it was with them as Liberty Life they had allowed someone (NOT ME) to borrow against the policy and I only found out about it once I called in for some unrelated matter. Finally after going through the better business bureau I got that straightened out. Well a few months ago I received a letter saying a new company had my policy and when I called in about it, they said they couldn't talk to me since I was no the owner? of the policy and that I'd need my older brother to. What? Then I was informed that he had purchased the policy, and they wouldn't tell me who the beneficiary was. Asked him, he knew nothing about it. Seems like it's some kind of mix up, still haven't gotten it straightened out. This company is a joke, or at least whatever company they are now is.

Liberty Mutual is the worst carrier in South Carolina IMO. Every carrier “customizes policies to fit your needs.” This carrier is all about taking your premium payment and then not paying out fairly if you’re legitimately injured. Stay away.

Slow on settling a claim against GEICO when I was rear ended in an accident. Over 7 weeks and still no settlement with other company.
