Jason was helping me out. My policies were coming up for renewal in a month and reached out to him to assist and helping finding another insurance company with better rates. He was responsive at first and then completely stopped answering my emails and texts messages. I reached out to Brianna who responded quickly but was unable to help since I was already working with Jason. I chose to find a different insurance agent.

I have been with Liberty Mutual for 3 years and just last month they did not renew my policy without explanation. I repeatedly called the local office on Medical Center Pkwy and no call backs. My son and I have been driving without insurance waiting to hear back. Not good business and do not recommend.

I was a customer for about a year but had nothing but issues when renewal came up.

First, my auto rate went up almost 15% despite no claims and not even inflation was that high.

Second, whenever I call and leave a message, no one ever returns my call. I called once on a Sunday and left a message but the whole week passed and no one ever called me back.

Finally, they have no control over their own system. My address had to be updated, I asked them to and they say they did. However, after waiting a week, my old address was still on my policy documents. I called them back and they said on their end it was fixed, were rude about it like I was wasting their time, and were telling me to just go with it that it's fine. How can you tell your customer to sign documents that have known false information? AFter all this I shopped around and found a cheaper rate so called to cancel, and the same thing happened. I called, they said they cancelled it, yet a week past and I get an email saying I owe them money, that I have a new bill present! I had to call corporate to actually get the policy cancelled, but even they couldn't do it and had to submit a ticket because they said the agency, this agency, had locked the document as "pending" or something.

The amount of time and negative emotions this agency has caused is such a waste and a headache; I'm going back to just buying online. It's faste, easier, and apparently cheaper too.

HORRIBLE experience and still trying to fight it. Completely dropped the ball many times, leaving my home uninsured for over a month. Everyone I talk with there agrees they dropped the ball, yet no one can get anything fixed or done about it.

Actually switching to geico and cancelling my service with liberty mutual tomorrow morning. I have gone in to correct my agent and his assistants mistakes at least twice now. First they were charging me for my old car, leaving my new car completely uninsured while I was still making payments, the second time they were charging me for both cars while my old car was supposed to be charged to my mothers account. This time they were supposed to be charging my account automatically for my car but instead hadn't been taking out anything at all. So I now owe $795 to a collection agency. I got numerous things in the mail from them and nothing said anything about me owing money to them. With no warning, I am now almost $900 in debt because of them. I had excellent credit before this experience and now it is dirt. Switching to a company that will actually NOT OVERCHARGE someone that has never been in a wreck and o lay has one speeding ticket. Loved my original insurance agent but after his passing they assigned me a young snot kid. This guy has been of no help and my insurance has gone up every year for no reason. Very high rates and they constantly lower coverage. I've been with them over 5 years. Time to change.

They randomly called out of the blue to say they were running my numbers on renters insurance. They ended up saving me $80 a month by bundling.

Terrible customer service. No return calls as promised. Inconsistent information. No fast responses with our burglary claim. You get violated and they treat you like the criminal. I only hope the adjusters go through a personal violation and are treated similarly. They do everything they can to not pay out and are not the cheapest out there. Spend your money else where.

Every person i have dealt with at Liberty Mutual has been great, except my inside adjuster. You would think that would warrant more than 1 star, but the experience with this adjuster has been so bad. I filed a claim the beginning of May, have sent over 10 emails, and left over 10 voicemails with my adjuster with zero response. I can only get a hold of the call center staff, which have been great, but they have no control over the claim being paid. Steer clear of Liberty Mutual.
