It seems that "I cannot tell a lie" is a thing of the past. You cannot trust their quotes, their "Right Track" promise of a discount, nothing. We were told we would get a big discount after doing Right Track, Right Track data confirmed that ($1366!) then they said, "oh, you got the discount, but by doing Right Track you get to keep the discount." Bull. Prove to me that I got that discount - they can't do it. The customer reps (that took searching for a phone number to get) were decent and I give them credit for that as they must deal with lots of angry customers with the way they do business.

Their customer service representatives are beyond incompetent in my opinion. Wanted to change my renters insurance because I'm moving to a different apartment complex. Something as simple as changing the address, adding the interested party and adding a third person on the insurance seemed to be too much for them. The first representative I had took all the information but told me that they weren't able to add the third person She then proceeded to email me the policy and when I received it the information on the policy was incorrect. I had to call back again and I got another representative who first placed me on hold then came back to the phone and then wasn't saying anything and I asked her if everything was okay and she told me her screen had frozen. After over 5 minutes of waiting I asked her if the screen was still frozen. She responded "No I'm still waiting.".It then finally was unfrozen. I told her what I needed to have done She said she needed to put me on hold which in my opinion was ridiculous. Why would I need to be put on hold for you just to make a simple change on a policy? She then came back to the phone and again asked me if I could wait This went on for a few more minutes until I finally hung up. I then called back again and talk to another individual who told me I would not be able to add a third person to the policy. I told him that since there is three of us on the lease that I needed all three people on the policy Why Liberty Mutual can't do this is beyond me. I told him I definitely needed a third person and then he said that he would be able to do it. In any event the policy once again was emailed over and the apartment number was missing from the address, the address of the interested party was wrong and the third person still was not added to the lease. Needless to say I called and canceled the policy and now am with a different carrier and I'm happ. It was a 1 2 3 experience. Called gave them the information paid the premium...bing bang boom it was done. I'm not downing Liberty Mutual's insurance...what I'm downing is the people that they hire to take these customer service calls. How hard is it to change an address on a policy or to add information??? It shouldn't take days to get your renter's policy into effect. .

Like many Florida residents, I recently received a shock when my insurance carrier informed me that there would be a significant increase in my condo insurance premium. I immediately called Wendy Norman to see if she had any thoughts on trying to mitigate this increase. Within a few days she came up with a variety of solutions that would reduce the higher premiums. I've been a dealer the last 7 years and have never had such a poor experience. In all fairness, my issue is with the 800 number but I had to post somewhere. Whilein the middle of a sale, I was helping a customer find insurance. We got an online quote for Liberty Mutual through a 3rd party site. My cust called the number provided to bind the policy but the call was disconnected somehow before the agent could finish. My cust then called back and was bounced around a couple agents. The guy who eventually took the call told her she needed to provide paperwork proving the last 2 oil changes, a copy of the registration and the Declaration page.??? WHAT? I jumped on the line to get clarity as I've never heard this before. How does she provide the Insurance Declaration when that's the reason she's calling You? Then he tells me he needs the dealerships Dec page! As if I owe him documents. Im only helping the cust. Im not responsible for the insurance policy. I offer alternative docs to help but was denied. Then while I'm in mid sentence asking clarifying questions the phone starts ringing and a so-called manager gets on the line. No warning at all. Then he says they are no longer writing policies in FL. ??? If you didn't want her business I would rather you just say so. Ended up going with Geico and got the policy done in 20 mins for the same amount. This was a total waste of time and the staff was unprofessional. I get advertising from LM all the time but this deterred me from ever using them. God forbid if they try to treat me this way as a paying cust.

I had Liberty for two years, switched to another company for six months, and came back. The best rates for very comprehensive coverage, and my rate is protected for a year. Easy to reach my agent, great service. I'm glad I'm back!

Only gave this company and the agents who never respond their calls. Is awful i gave being leaving messages to my so call agent, I wonder if their managers are aware if the awful jobs some of this agents are doing. I've been requesting my insurance paperwork for my policy and I gave received nothing. . My advice to you is search somewhere else for a car insurance.

The WORST service I have ever experienced. Save yourself the trouble and find a better insurance provider. TRUST ME. Their employees have no respect for their customers and fail to disclose crucial information. I never leave reviews but I want others to be informed of the kind of company Liberty Mutual is. My policy was canceled and I had NO IDEA. I only found out until I received a letter from the DMV that my policy had been canceled. Due to this I was going to have my license suspended and was going to be fined to be reinstated. This whole time I didn’t have my coverage and I had NO IDEA! When I tried to call to get an explanation they said they emailed me a notification but I NEVER received it. Let me be clear, they’ve emailed me many times so they have my correct contact information. They then emailed me the letter of notification and could not provide proof that it was sent to me prior to canceling my policy. Then they simply said there was nothing they could do, they could not reinstate me and they could not contact the DMV to clear it up. A completely untrustworthy company.

Well..it's absolutely true , they don't answer my call..emails..and nobody knows why my car's insurance payments are going up every 6 months. Maybe because COVID-19 I guess..!! I will not recommend this company anymore. My salary still the same.

I was referred because they are in partnership with National Association of Realtors. I was happy with my insurance company but thought I would try Liberty Mutual since they were giving extra discounts for being a realtor and they would save me a few hundred dollars a year. I had to be to towed and it took 5 HOURS and I had to pay for Uber to get home! Unacceptable I am actively looking for another Auto Ins ASAP! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Not impressed. They just arent very communicative or thorough, and they don't make you feel supported in your time of need. Not horrible.... Just not great. They do the bare minimum. My husband is insured by LM and I'm insured by Geico. Their costumer service and support pales in comparison. We will be switching my husband over very soon.

If I didn't have to give them one star, I wouldn't for a review. They cancelled my insurance the night before my birthday and the local office told me they shouldn't have. I said screw them and went and got insurance elsewhere and now they send me a bill in the mail asking for a payment on a cancelled insurance policy......GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING A PAYMENT!!!🤬🤬🤬

I was interested because their commercials repeatedly say that you only pay for what you need with Liberty! Talked to rep who was friendly & found out that they charge as much for the same coverage I have with top company, even though I drive many, many fever miles & have had a clean driving record for well over 5 yrs. Want you to install "driving guage" for 3 months before they - maybe - lower premium a few dollars. I'll to stay w/my solid company & no hassles!

Coverage may be ok, not sure I have not had to make a claim. Their payment process is poor and trying to pay them is difficult. I have had so much trouble with the checks I have sent them and then calling their phone system to that they can get paid immediately equals to being on hold for 45 min.

I have Liberty Mutual homeowners insurance and had water damage to my home several months ago. The water damage was severe - all the walls have been partially cut out and all the flooring and cabinets have been removed. All of my personal belongings had to be packed in storage. I am a single, working mom and this has been a traumatic experience for me and my family. While the restoration companies have been a blessing - the Liberty Mutual adjusters I have dealt with have been both inept and cruel. The estimates they sent have not been accurate and are too low for me to get the repair work done properly. To make matters worse - I had to sleep on an air mattress on the floor of my adult daughter's studio apartment for a couple nights because the Liberty Mutual adjuster stopped paying for my temporary living. He seems to think somehow I can be living in my home when he hasn’t even given us the appropriate amount of money to complete this work. I have heard about insurance companies doing things like this - I just never thought mine would. I cannot express how disappointed and distraught I am.

One of their employees accessed personal information about a local business while on their clock. The employee or employees involved did this knowingly and with intentions to use that information for their own personal reasons. At this point the company who had their personal information stolen has contacted attorneys and will be contacting corporate Monday. This is an absolute disgrace.

Absolutely terrible insurance company with very low ethics. You should shop other companies before using this company. They may appear to be the lowest cost provider, however they will not be if you have a legitimate claim which they will deny.

I have been with library mutual for several years and in 2017 I gave the company A 5 star rating I recently moved from Tallahassee to seffiner Fl my rate went from 1200 to 2000 reason address change

I have attempted 3 times over the last two days to file a claim but the insurance adjusters leave me on hold for over 30 minutes and eventually hang up every single time. My car was rear ended by a commercial vehicle that is insured by liberty mutual, and all we want from them is a rental car! I am an registered nurse with two children in need of a way to get to and from work and pick drop off and pick up my children. Absolutely appalling customer service.

I called to get an auto insurance quote and was turned down because in 2016 my car was hit from behind and the other driver did not have any insurance and my insurance paid for my injuries and fixed my car. Liberty Mutual said they could not insure me because I have extensive claims. That's terrible that I would be denied coverage on that bases and it was not my fault. Would not recommend this company to anyone !

Liberty Mutual uses it's "No premium increase for a first accident " as a focal point in their national ad campaign. This is totally false and misleading. They won't increase your premium in the fiscal year of the accident. They wait until your policy is up for renewal and then hit you with a significant premium increase . Customer Service explained that there is no increase during the year of the accident but the premium increases ,due to the accident, upon renewal. Needless to say we no longer use Liberty Mutual.

Not very smart or customer servuce friendly. Called for info on a customers flood policy. Was told no one assumes flood, cant give out info, cant give new buyer quotes with current owners elevation or tell me if she even had one. Whe I explained to her Ive closed tons of transactions with new owners assuming flood. Have had companies send me elevation certificates etc she kept saying "aw,ya no" to everything. I'm not five, I didn't bruise my knee. She gave me another number for the customer to call since i cant. They not only gave me the policy number for buyers to call and use, she ley me know there is no elevation on file and that the policy is assumable. So maybe you should seriously think about whos answering the phone. You are not making money if you're not writing policies so dont make it so complicated. Plus everyone decent in customer services knows the first thing you say is I'm Sorry, not awww like a child with a blanket.

BEWARE: This company is great as long as you don't have an accident... once you do, they will fight in any possible way so they don't have to pay you, and that is why people buy insurance in the first place!... to be covered in case of an accident. At least that is my story: after they were forced to pay my health invoices through my lawyer, now they increased my policy by 400%. Stay away from them!!!

We were considering Liberty Mutual as our insurance provider until the unreasonable stance taken by them, about Laura Ingraham's comments; Liberty Mutual Insurance The insurer on Friday said that no more ads were scheduled for Ingraham's show because her comments were "inconsistent with our values as a company, especially when it comes to treating others with dignity and respect." Hogg is clearly being used by the Left to further an agenda. Our hearts got out to his bad experience and lost friends. It is no reason to punish Ms. Ingraham. Pedal you insurance and leave the politics out of it. We don't want to be involve with a company showing such poor judgement.

Great company I’ve been with several insurance companies and none of them handled things correctly. Liberty mutual is a huge company that insurance not only smaller customers like myself, but large companies as well like Walmart, Home Depot etc. if billion dollar companies chose them I know I’m getting top quality. People complain about rates all the time, but I’ll pay what I need to make sure my family and property are safe and covered

Liberty mutual is a horrible company. They fail to carry common knowledge for billing questions. I was personally told by a rep that they listen to whatever a computer screen tells them. They don't disclose with you that you are paying in the middle of your cycle so when you go to cancel they charge you more money. I have been told by many liberty mutual representatives that they don't care about me as a customer and they will do nothing to try and make me a happy customer and make my policy a little more affordable. I was being charged $400 a month for 2 vehicles and found another company for half what liberty mutual was charging me. Horrible company all around and I would never recommend liberty mutual to anybody.

My family have been loyal Liberty Mutual customers since 2002. Irma really damaged our property but more importantly it really took a toll on my family. I called our claim in the morning after the hurricane. Our home and entire neighborhood was without power for a week. Our job was shut down due to the lack of power and the sheer detestation. Liberty Mutual had my entire claim taken care of in less than a month and my family was able to begin our restoration to our home and lives. Our Claims adjuster Jaime Gibbs was so kind and compassionate at all times. I expected a struggle to get what we needed. I expected to have a lot of out of pocket expenses. Not one single time did I worry about anything! My adjuster notified me of every single step. Everything was explained to me in a way that I understood. Never once did I feel like I had made a bad decision by choosing Liberty Mutual. I am speaking from personal experience when I say that this company will exceed all of your expectations. You will never be disappointed by Liberty Mutual. My adjuster answered the phone every single time I called. From the bottom of our hearts thank you Liberty Mutual!!! The Speights’s family

I had an accident from a liberty customer. My vehicle is tuned and very customized. I sunk about 3k sooping up my awesome car. So naturally I was terrified they would junk my beautiful chariot because you can buy one for about 5k used now because apparently Im the only guy that loves the pt cruizer. After I contacted Liberty they said they would cover it if I took it to there contractor. It took almost a month and the contractor called me to say some of the stuff that was damage might not be covered. I protested as everything was damn near perfect before the accident. So I called the adjuster (Janis Farrow) the next morning. She gave me the protocols if I was not happy. After the call I went to the dealership. Apon arrival the manager came out to discuss my car. We went thu the repairs there was alot of unseen damages they repaired and they DID FIX EVERYTHING! Even the little ding that was there already FOR FREE! Chad at Gordon Chevrolet in Tampa explained to me that he had to tell me that it might not be covered because people try to get free repairs all the time. My car looks like it should be in a show now. The turbo is running better then when I dropped it off. IM SO DAMN HAPPY I COULD DANCE THE JIG. THANK YOU LIBERTY MUTUAL & GORDON CHEVROLET! YOU GUYS ARE A CLASS ACT! I LOVE MY CAR SO MUCH AND YOU BROUGHT HER HOME AGAIN. YOU GUYS ROCK! I highly recommend Liberty Mutual & Gordon Chevrolet! One very happy customer.

I will be referring all my friends and family to Liberty Mutual. They have the best Insurance Agents ever!!! Especially Bridget Loring! I will also be writing random reviews on social media and Liberty Mutual sites. The reason for is is that I don't want anyone who is trying to decide to become a potential customer to have any doubt about the QUALITY of service you get with a Liberty Mutual Agent.. There is no doubt in my mind that Liberty Mutual is the best insurance provider EVER!!!!

It's hard to know how good your insurance is until you need it, and I was pleasantly surprised with Liberty Mutual. I got in an accident a couple weeks ago, and they managed all of the details really well, and I was reimbursed for the repairs the day my car was done. Their staff was friendly and professional.

Liberty Mutual has great discounts for corporate or alumni members - USF gets a good discount on auto insurance in the Tampa Area. The agent Chris was very knowledgable and friendly.
