Dropped my girlfriends insurance without notice only because she didn't sign a form that exempted me from her insurance, was making her payments on time never late. Never called her and the only reason she found out was because of her agent thats been really helpful, the company didn't even attempt to contact her whatsoever. The lady she talked to was unprofessional and rude, my girlfriend asked for a direct line to get her policy reinstated and the lady gave her the number she already called, acting like it was a direct line, my girlfriend got understandably frustrated and then the lady hung up on her. Wish I remembered her name she needs to be fired. Very frustrating and because of all this she will be looking for another insurance.

I canceled my policy with them before my payment for the next month was due. I was completely paid up when I canceled it. I have been getting threatening emails from them saying I owe them money when I don't. MY boyfriend has contacted them and told them that we don't owe them any money and that we weren't going to pay them money that we don't owe. They said Okay, and we figured it was over and done with. Since then I have gotten two emails from them threatening me, saying if we don't pay they will send us to collections.
I DON'T RECOMMEN ANYONE TO GO TO LIBERTY MUTUAL.  THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS. THEY CHARGE WAY TOO MUCH FOR CAR INSURANCE AND THEY WILL SIGN YOU UP FOR THINGS WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION

Do not recommend at all. I get into an accident and have to file a claim with liberty and Safeco (granted I am not a customer)one rep told me they were sending out the check within two days cause they deemed my car totaled which was not true. Another rep told me they would not release the check until they received my title yet they want the rental car back before I get the check? how am I suppose to buy a car with no check and no rental they should give people a day or so once they release the check!! Awful way to do business and leave someone stranded ! I didn't even want to give them one star but I guess I have to to leave this review

My car which was park was hit in July and had very little information from my Adjustor and was informed after a month of trying to reach some from the claim department is a nightmare.  I have no vehicle and rental is expiring this weekend.  They haven't contacted the other Adjustor insurance to collect so I could buy another car in a timely fashion.  Still I'm waiting on my insurance which is mutual liberty to get there act together.  I will be switching my insurance to better company.  It's embarrassing to have the car rental place ask to contacted my insurance because there getting zero response from them to conduct business.  I'm paid my bill on time with no late fees.  The money I put into maintaining my insurance should at least had this company put a little effort in contacting me . Instead   I felt left in the darkness.  FROM YOUR Unsatisfied customer.

Got what I needed at a much reasonable rate

Super high poor service even charged me a early cancelation fee and I was monthly wit liberty.. go to state farm so much cheaper...

Have been waiting 2 months for final payment on an auto claim. Also, had a sales agent contact me to set up a phone appointment which they never kept.

Shawn spedea  office is excellent to deal with. When you can get one of the office people not other agents who also do a good job just personal preference

I got insurance here they ripped me off paid with my debit card  2week later say I owre them I my bank statement said they got it all t try rip  me off

Got me a huge discount compared to what my husband and I used to pay.  Loving it so far

The worst insurance company. Their client hit me, totaled my car and it has taken them over a month to complete a settlement.
Did I mention they only provided an 8 day rental? Meanwhile it took two weeks to even contact me about the accident. My rental is almost up and I still do not have the check for a new vehicle.

This company doesn't even deserve one star.

Great Service and prices, I have been with them for 4 years now and they have quickly settles two claims for me and are great to work with!

Liberty Mutual SUCKS, they are on every list on the internet for being a worst insurance co's. The people i have dealt with in Augusta are nice, but they have no power to settle your claim. Don't let those ads on TV fool you, Lib Mutal SUCKS and the people in the Augusta office must sit around with their thumbs up there ass!!! Still working on a claim from 2013!!!!!!! Liberty Mutual IS NOT there for you, in your time of need, they want their payment on time, which my late Mom paid and then i did, but my situation is a nightmare!! I have a lawyer involved who is about to fired and the my new lawyer says he can get the job done. I go into the Augusta office on Aug.30, 17 and get this jerk off Shawn Spadea, when i ask if he has seen all the negative reviews about Lib Mut, he says all insurance companies get bad reviews. Liberty Mutual is on several internet list in the 10 or 12 WORST  insurance companies and not on any lists i could find for a good insurance company!! Liberty Mutual is NOT there when you need them!!

We had liberty mutual insurance for at least a year, paid every month automatic and then I found another policy which was cheaper so I cancelled and switched, or so I thought. I got a $1200 bill from them because they never cancelled my policy and kept
Billing me. I showed them proof and they finally got rid of the $1200 bill (took a couple months of paperwork and arguing) but then they sent me another bill for $482 saying that we owe for before we cancelled the policy even tho, all our payments were made and we have proof of it. My mother in law finally just paid them but we did NOT owe that and they threatened us for it. Thieves!

Love theese guys always got your back on insurance coverage and always willing to go the extra mile for there customers.
