I pay my premiums yearly, I haven’t received my insurance refund. Why haven’t liberty mutual gave me what’s due to me, they have no problem taking my premiums.when my policy is up I’m dropping them.

If I could give this company zero stars I definitely would they are absolutely awful! I paid the same amount for my bill up until the very last bill that I had, which they charged four times more! My bill was originally $97 and my last bill was $241.. HOW?! I just switched to StateFarm yesterday and I went to cancel my policy bc my new one started immediately and now they’re telling me that in order to cancel my policy I owe them $293!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HOW?! When I called to ask why they were charging me this amount they said it was because when I started my policy they did not charge me for the first month. Uhhh what?! I told the woman that I had no idea that they didn’t charge me for the first month, so I was not paying that bill. She said that’s fine, it will just go to collections. And even if they didn’t charge me for the first month how do they get $293?? I am not paying the bill and filing a lawsuit. I don’t understand how car insurance companies get away with scamming people like this. Liberty Mutual is absolutely the most awful Insurace company I’ve ever used and I don’t recommend them to anyone and they are getting NO MORE of my money! They are a money hungry company that DOES NOT care about their customers.

Terrible customer service, they send you invoices that give you one amount for your premium then bill you for more than the quote, they cannot even give you the same information on two different phone calls about the same issue. Worst insurance company I've ever used will not renew policy

This insurance is under my boyfriend who has no tickets violations or claims trying to add roadside from the app is ridiculous tried to use it without having it and they wanted close to 200 dollars for a tow or to just bring us a spare tire I pay the renters and the vehicle insurance payments first they take forever to even pull out had to make additional payments took out my checking account for the automatic payments and put in my credit card just to try to have it paid on time big mistake! Don't do that! at first it was great great cost however it just keeps going up and up in the cost and now from 9 dollars for renters up to 20 dollars for removing my checking account even tho it said it was 11 before I closed the app I hate to see the cost if I ever have to make a claim on my full coverage vehicle! Just find a different insurance company altogether... don't waste your time

Absolutely horrible customer service at times non-communative and many instances of unlawful billing practices.  Stay away go with anyone besides them.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever used. No communication. They charged me for insurance on the wrong address and after I waited on the phone for 2 hours canceling the policy they still pulled the money from my account.

I would rate zero stars if i could. Rates would increase without warning.  Worst service ever!!!!!! I was literally on the phone every couple months arguing about why my premium went up yet again. I saved a  ton of money by switching.

Initially, Liberty Mutual Insurance offered a great deal to me when I bundled my auto and renters insurance. I have a perfect driving record and have never had to make a claim. However, EVERY year after, they have changed some aspect of my policy, without notifying me of the change, before sending me a bill. They have charged me approximately $100 more per year AFTER I've paid for the entire year's insurance. So that great deal they give is EXTREMELY temporary.

Had storm damage from hail they sent out a third party to come and inspect my property. The “private contractor” found damage to my shed roof and will do a full replacement, however the house in which is 1 year old they refuse to replace the whole roof and want to remove and replace a few bundles of shingles. Now I’m fighting to get any response at all.  Liberty doesn’t stand with you!!!!! Find different insurance.

Update
Was able to get the whole roof replaced and other work done to my home. Now am struggling to get the rest of the money paid out by liberty so I can pay my contractors.

Sometimes they have been unprofessional when dealing with them and other times and of course different agents have been helpful and friendly.  I dont feel they pay out fairly for claims and they charge too much for insurance in my opinion.

If there was a way to give these thugs a zero star i would.  They might be the cheapest but one of the worst insurance companies.  So after we got in an accident and the police finds the fault with the other driver these crooks wanted us to go to shop of their choice only.  When we went to a different shop they refused to pay the difference.  Our Home insurance they quoted us a lower rate and after few months send us a letter that will be increasing our insurance by about $150.00.  Bait and switch - this is who they are.  Had i time on me, i would have complained about these crooks and their unfair business practices to the Insurance Commissioner.  Stay away if you wanna maintain your sanity.

If I could give no stars I would worst insurance company I have every went to.

Two weeks since my  accident and still no estimate. Refusing to send an appraiser insisting the fast track is quicker with just photos.   I was not at fault and just want my car repaired to its original condition! You suck  Liberty!

$178 for full coverage progressive 43??? They rip you off

Liberty mutual, by far, offered the least expensive insurance for my 16-year-old driver.  It's only costing her $38 a month, which she pays her self, and is affordable to her.
In the past, I totaled my car hitting a deer. I had full coverage, and they quickly sent me a check.
Three years ago, my car engine caught on fire and did some damage. It did take a few weeks, but liberty mutual paid for the expenses.
In my opinion, liberty mutual is the best insurance company around. I don't mind making my monthly payments because I know they will take care of me when I need it.

Liberty mutual is the worst insurance company ever!!!! My son crashed my car I sent them the title and they sent me the check and picked up my vehicle from the car repair shop taking possession of vehicle and title! Then I got a letter from a junk yard in another town saying the insurance company abandened the vehicle there and I owe them $6075 storage on the crashed vehicle the company took possession of! The letter stated they would scrap vehicle and come after me for the rest! Wth why would they expect me to pay for a vehicle that is now the insurance companies!!!!! This company is a joke do not trust them
