We had an auto insurance policy with Liberty Mutual for several years. In December 2024, I received a letter from Liberty Mutual informing me that they would no longer be offering auto insurance coverage in the state of California. They stated that my information would be referred to another company for coverage.

Shortly after, I was contacted via email by Josh Scott, who requested my driver's license and vehicle registration information. I forwarded the requested documents and responded to his email asking for a quote. However, about a week later — which is today — I received an email stating that an auto insurance policy had been activated in my name and that I now owe a payment.

I want to be very clear: I never authorized or approved any insurance policy. A decision was made on my behalf without my consent, and now I am being billed for a policy I did not agree to. This is fraudulent and unacceptable.

I attempted to resolve this by calling the customer service number provided in the email (866-472-3325), but I was placed on hold for over an hour until my phone battery died. I also tried calling Josh Scott directly. He briefly answered the call but then transferred me to a queue where I waited for another hour without any resolution.

Additionally, I sent an email to Josh Scott today, requesting that this unauthorized policy be canceled immediately. As of now, I have not received any response, and I am unable to cancel the policy on my own. BEWARE of this business!!
