Ryan has been a top-performing agent with Comparion Insurance Agency since 2009, consistently achieving the highest awards in the company: President’s Club, Presidential Life Club, Elite (which honors the top 25 agents in the company), and many more. He completed his Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) certification with The American College, a two-year professional designation program, in 2012. This program provides valuable training on how to guide clients in their life insurance programs and protect them financially with the highest level of information and consultation. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) from the Mabee School of Business (COBA) at Abilene Christian University (’03) after graduating from Klein High School (’99). He was an intern in the admissions and recruiting department as a leader and manager of the student recruiting marketing team and later served as an admissions counselor. He and his wife moved to Waco in 2004, where he worked as a door-to-door contract negotiator for Cintas Corporation and was also a Presidential Club representative while Laura completed her master’s degree at Baylor. Ryan has a passion not for selling clients, but for providing tailored, sensible, and competitive solutions that help clients choose what is best for them. He also coaches many agents locally and nationally and conducts nationwide sales and marketing training and consulting on various programs for nationwide implementation.

In his personal life, Ryan believes the most important and valuable effort is providing for and spending time with his wife, Laura, and their three children: Brooke, Ethan, and Kinley. Ryan and Laura volunteer weekly as small group leaders for youth at their local church and support many connected community service organizations. Over the years, Ryan has coached youth football and soccer teams for his children and believes pouring knowledge—and, more importantly, encouragement—into the next generation of leaders is a vital responsibility for all community members. Ryan and Laura have been married since 2004 and love to travel, camp, support the performing arts, and spend time with their kids. Ryan is an avid backyard BBQ and grill “master”—from smoking and grilling to performing hibachi tricks on the flattop, he claims he can do it all. His ribs even won second place in a local BBQ competition!
